Latest Collaborations in the Fight Against COVID-19

If you have read our previous "Partnerships for Good" blog then you'll know that there has been some amazing collaborations all across the globe. Here at b2b, we want to continue to shed a little light on partnerships that we think deserve more recognition.

With the uncertainty around lockdown still at the front of everyone's mind, we’ve pulled together another list of some of the positive collaborations from the past few weeks.

 

EDF partners with Boots to deliver essential medicine to the most vulnerable


EDF have recently partnered with a number of companies to assist in the demand for pharmaceuticals. EDF will be working with Boots UK to help local communities during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, delivering essential prescription medicines to vulnerable patients and to those households in self-isolation.

Canon Joins COVID-19 Intellectual Property Partnership


Canon announced, in order to help bring a swift end to the spread of the coronavirus, has joined the COVID-19 Countermeasure Declaration as a founding member. Entities who become signatories of the COVID-19 Countermeasure Declaration pledge that they will not assert their patents, utility models, designs or copyrights during the time of this crisis against any activities whose purpose is stopping the spread of COVID-19, including diagnosis, prevention, containment and treatment.


Oracle agrees partnership with Zoom to support surge in users

Zoom has partnered with cloud giant Oracle to help manage the sudden rise in users that its video conferencing platform has sustained a result of the global coronavirus pandemic. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will be adopted to support Zoom's rapid growth and evolving business needs as it continues to develop its services.

Andrex and In Kind Direct


Andrex have partnered with In Kind Direct to deliver 1 million toilet rolls to vulnerable people. To help spread the kindness they are also donating a £1 for every time the hashtag #ShareASquare is shared on twitter to In Kind Direct.

Axa and Liverpool FC Helping Keeping us Fit and Healthy


Axa have joined forces with their partner LiverpoolFC to bring everyone at home a series of Home Workout videos. To ensure everyone is keeping physically and mentally strong as we continue to #StayHome.


Mediaworks Partnering with York St John university


Mediaworks online have partnered with York St John university offering a free online course specialising in digital marketing. In order to help the region bounce back from lockdown.
