The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) was formed in 1976 to promote professionalism amongst those working in the field of pensions. Today, it offers a wider range of membership and qualifications than ever before to its 5,000 pensions professional and trustee members.
Its four levels of membership and nine different examination options are available to managers, consultants, administrators, international benefit specialists, IFA's, lawyers, accountants, trustees and support staff.
The PMI is a non lobbying professional body but works with government and other bodies in the financial sector to ensure the views of members are put forward in a sound and impartial manner.
